Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026The English text of this document is the binding version.

1. Cancelling a subscription

  • You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription — no emails, no phone calls, no questions required.
  • Cancellation is never immediate and never cuts you off early. It takes effect at the end of the billing period you already paid for, and until that date you keep full access to your plan and its remaining subscription credits. Example: your subscription renews on the 20th and you cancel on the 10th — you keep everything until the 20th, and the subscription simply does not renew.
  • From the end of that period your account moves to the Free plan and you are not charged again. Your reports and history stay forever, purchased credit packs remain yours, and price-tracking entries are paused — not deleted — and resume if you re-subscribe.

2. No refunds

All payments are final. We do not issue full or partial refunds — not for subscription charges, not for credit packs, and not for unused credits or unused time on a plan that has been cancelled. This applies however much of the period or the credit balance you did or did not use.

What replaces a refund is the cancellation term in section 1: you never lose time you have paid for, and you are never billed after you cancel. We also keep a free tier — three product checks, no card required — specifically so you can evaluate ScanDrop on real products before any money changes hands.

3. Statutory cancellation rights

Section 2 is our commercial policy; it does not, and cannot, remove rights the law gives you.

  • Israel. Under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 (distance selling), consumers in Israel may cancel a distance transaction within 14 days of the transaction date or of receiving the transaction summary, whichever is later. Where the law permits, a cancellation fee of 5% or ₪100 (the lower of the two) may apply, and value already consumed may be deducted as permitted by law.
  • EU / UK and other jurisdictions. Where mandatory consumer law grants you a withdrawal or cancellation right that cannot be waived, that right applies regardless of section 2.

To exercise a statutory right, email cr7allthetime1@gmail.com with your account email and the transaction reference.

4. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and the renewal date and price are stated on the pricing page, at checkout and in your purchase confirmation email. A reminder is sent before each renewal, so you always have the chance to cancel before the next charge. Because payments are final, cancelling before the renewal date is the way to avoid a charge you do not want.

5. Failed checks — credits are returned automatically

This is the one thing that is always returned, and it is automatic: if an analysis fails for any reason, the credits it consumed are put straight back into your balance. You never pay credits for a report you did not receive. This is a credit adjustment inside your account, not a money refund.

6. Payments, chargebacks and reversals

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, and Paddle's own buyer terms apply to your purchase alongside this policy. If a payment is nevertheless reversed — through a statutory cancellation, a bank chargeback, or a decision made by Paddle — then the credits that payment granted are removed from your account (the balance never goes below zero) and any subscription it paid for is cancelled.
