Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ScanDrop ("the Service"), operated by ScanDrop ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What ScanDrop is — and is not

ScanDrop analyzes publicly available product listings and market signals using artificial intelligence, and produces reports that include trust scores, market estimates, profit calculations, marketing texts and AI-generated product images.

All scores, verdicts, estimates and figures in a ScanDrop report are AI-generated assessments. They are informational tools only and do not constitute business, financial, investment or legal advice. Selling decisions, pricing decisions and supplier choices are yours alone, and you bear their outcomes. We do not guarantee that a product marked favorably will sell, be profitable, or be delivered as described by its supplier.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By registering you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering into this agreement.

3. Accounts

• One account per person. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide a valid email address that you control.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, including circumventing free-tier limits, automated scraping of the Service, resale of access, or fraudulent payment activity.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion cancels any active subscription and permanently erases your data (see the Privacy Policy).

4. Credits, subscriptions and billing

• Product checks consume credits (a full check costs 25 credits; a re-check costs 12).
• Subscription credits reset on each billing renewal and do not accumulate. Purchased credit packs never expire.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; access and credits remain yours until the end of the period already paid for.
• Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle handles billing, taxes and refunds according to their buyer terms and our Refund Policy.
• If a payment is refunded or charged back, the credits granted by that payment are removed from the account (never below zero), and any related subscription ends.

5. Your content and generated content

The marketing titles, descriptions and AI-generated product images that ScanDrop creates for your checks belong to you. You may use them commercially, edit them and publish them without attribution. To the extent we hold any rights in them, we assign those rights to you upon generation.

AI-generated images are generative representations inspired by the analyzed product — they are not photographs of the supplier's actual item. Do not present them as official supplier photography, and ensure your own use complies with the laws and platform rules that apply to you.

6. Source data and third-party products

• Reports are based on publicly available information retrieved from third-party marketplaces at the moment of the check. That information can change or disappear at any time afterwards, and reports are not updated retroactively (a re-check creates a fresh report).
• We do not verify the ownership, authenticity, safety, regulatory compliance or intellectual-property status of third-party products, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of supplier-published information.
• ScanDrop is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AliExpress, Amazon, Alibaba, Shein, Temu or any marketplace it analyzes. All trademarks belong to their owners.

7. Acceptable use

• No attempts to breach, probe or overload the Service, or to access other users' data.
• No automated mass-querying of the Service outside the interfaces we provide.
• No use of the Service for unlawful purposes, including analyzing listings for counterfeit or prohibited goods with intent to sell them.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Marketplace blocking, upstream API outages or maintenance may make some or all features temporarily unavailable. A failed check never consumes credits — they are refunded automatically. We may modify features over time; material changes to these Terms will be announced by email or in-app notice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost business opportunities — including losses connected to products you chose to sell after reading a ScanDrop report.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law where it applies.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction — without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply to you in your country of residence.
